Located in Yinna mountain scenic area Meixian District, it is the State AAAA-class National Tourist Attraction and also provincial-level units of historical relics under protection, it was built in second year of Xiantong’s reign during the Tang Dynasty (AD 861).

There is a rare ancient eight sunk panel ventilation spiral ventilator in the main ridge of Lingguang Temple Main Hall.

There are two cypresses (also called “the tree of life and death”) standing on either side in front of the gate, one is green and luxuriant with infinite vitality, whilst the other is withered.

The living tree stands proudly, and the withered tree is immortality.

Why are there numerous of green trees behind the Main Hall, but not a leaf on the roof of the Main Hall?

It is still a mystery now.
